Personal Background

Kathryn “Katie” Fenske is a Chicago native turned Idahoan. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Community Health Education and Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010. She went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing degree at the prestigious Marquette University, specializing in Midwifery in 2014.

With nearly 8 years of experience as a labor and delivery charge nurse and intensive midwifery training, she is ready and excited to provide excellent midwifery care to the women of Idaho Falls and surrounding areas. She strongly believes in shared decision making when it comes to planning and preparing for a birth.

She is committed to helping you achieve the pregnancy and birth story of your dreams, with the ultimate goal of a healthy mom and a healthy baby.

As a Certified Nurse Midwife, Katie is excited to provide routine prenatal care for low risk pregnancies, well woman care including annual exams, pap smears, common female complaints such as vaginal infections and UTIs, birth control consultation, and basic primary care. Katie has delivery privileges at both Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and Mountain View Hospital.

When not providing excellent patient care, Katie enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with friends and family, especially with her three adorable nephews.
