Dr. Ty Erickson and Lori Woodbury, PA-C Travel to Peru & Guatemala on Medical Mission
Rosemark Women Care Specialists is proud to recognize the extraordinary humanitarian efforts of Dr. Ty Erickson, board-certified urogynecologist, and Lori Woodbury, Physician Assistant, who recently returned from international medical missions dedicated to advancing women’s health.
This spring, Dr. Erickson and Lori Woodbury, PA-C traveled to Guatemala, where they performed life-changing surgeries for women who had often waited years for treatment some traveling more than 12 hours to reach care. “It was one of the most incredible weeks of my life,” Lori shared. “I am humbled and forever changed by the opportunity to serve these beautiful women alongside Dr. Erickson.”
Their medical mission did not end there. In May 2025, the team traveled to the mountain regions of Peru, where they collaborated with first responders and obstetras (midwives), teaching lifesaving skills to manage emergency childbirth complications. Their goal was clear, to help reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in underserved regions.

“These experiences remind us why we do what we do,” said Dr. Erickson. “The opportunity to share knowledge and provide care where it’s desperately needed is both humbling and deeply rewarding.”
Beyond their medical contributions, the Rosemark team embraced the culture and history of the communities they served. In Peru, they visited Machu Picchu, an experience Lori described as “tremendously awe-inspiring.”
Rosemark Women Care Specialists is honored to support Dr. Erickson and Woodbury’s commitment to extending compassionate, expert care beyond borders. Their dedication reflects the clinic’s mission of advancing women’s health, both at home and around the world.
