Obstetrics
| Our office strives to provide the most up-to-date medical care. Our physicians are board certified through the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. We have in-office certified ultrasonography, providing convenient, expedient, and cost effective care for our patients.Our office is located on the hospital campus, just seconds down the hall from Labor and Delivery. This provides rapid access for our patients. The physicians have a very low cesarean section rate—10%, well below the national and hospital average of 22%.
We provide high-risk obstetrical care, ranging from pre-term labor to severe toxemia. If necessary, we have access to the faculty at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for consultation. Ultrasound |

| We provide in-office hydration for severe morning sickness, fetal heart rate monitoring, and D&C for miscarriages. This gives patients a less costly option for using the hospital.With these conveniences right in the office, the physicians are able to meet patients after hours or on weekends in the office for some emergency problems instead of using the emergency rooms.The physicians respect nearly all requests and birth plans desired by the patient and spouse, except home delivery. We encourage patient involvement and interaction. Spouses are offered, when appropriate, to assist in the delivery of the newborn and the cutting of the umbilical cord. |
